I'm Velvet, a 24-year-old, Female fursuit maker from Ontario, Canada, I've been making fursuits since 2015 and costumes since 2012.

I am the proud owner and sole maker of Velvet Guts Studios as well as the current owner of the Strixat species.

I created and managed this species for Secret Chicken after she left the furry fandom, I wanted to see this species blossom into something bigger than just the handful of Strixat we have currently.   

Being the new owner of strixat has allowed me to expand upon this species like I never could before, keeping Secret's original idea but adding my twist and breathing life into this has made it something more than just a funky bird-like creature, it's given me a creative outlet from the bottom up.
